Catalogue of the library at Ochtertyre [manuscript] / arranged by Colin M. Dundas, 1887.

The majority of the books in Ochtertyre library were clearly collected together by Sir David Dundas, with a few possibly collected by his predecessor John Ramsay. A number of books were presented to Dundas and indicate both his political and bibliographical connections, including Lord Macauley, Anthony Panizzi, Lord Brougham, Bernard Quaritch, David Laing, Henry Holland, Richard Monkland Milnes, J.R. McCulloch, Beriah Botfield, William Stirling Maxwell, and James Gibson Craig, Duke of Sunderland. Dundas also acquired books that had once belonged to the Duchess de Berri, Horace Walpole, Duke of Roxburghe, King George III, Duke of Sussex, and Lord Cockburn, as well as books bound by Roger Payne.
